Roland Göhde 

Roland Göhde ist Mitbegründer und Vorstandsvorsitzender der gemeinnützigen Virchow-Stiftung für globale Gesundheit, die 2021 gemeinsam mit den Präsidenten der Nationalen Akademie der Wissenschaften Leopoldina und der Berlin-Brandenburgischen Akademie der Wissenschaften sowie dem Gründungspräsidenten gegründet wurde des Weltgesundheitsgipfels. Die Stiftung verleiht den Virchow-Preis für globale Gesundheit mit ihrer ersten Preisverleihung im Oktober 2022 unter der Schirmherrschaft des Bundespräsidenten der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Seit 2014 fungiert Roland Göhde als Senior Managing Director des deutschen Diagnostik- und Biotechnologieunternehmens Sysmex Partec und als Vorstandsvorsitzender der GHA – German Health Alliance, ehemals German Healthcare Partnership (GHP), einer 2010 gemeinsam gegründeten Initiative von der Bundesregierung und dem Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie (BDI) sowie als Vorstandsmitglied des Afrika-Vereins.

Roland Göhde is Co-Founder & CEO of the non-for-profit Virchow Foundation for Global Health which was established in 2021 together with the Presidents of the National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina and the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences as well as the Founding President of the World Health Summit. The Foundation is granting the Virchow Prize for Global Health with its inaugural award ceremony held in October 2022 under the High Patronage of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany. Since 2014, Roland Göhde has been acting as Senior Managing Director of German diagnostics and biotechnology company Sysmex Partec, and as Chair of the Board of GHA – German Health Alliance, former German Healthcare Partnership (GHP), an initiative which was jointly established in 2010 by the German government and the Federation of German Industries (BDI), and as Member of the Board of Afrika-Verein.
