Christian Scheer

Christian S. Scheer is the executive senior consultant at the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine at University Medicine Greifswald, Germany. He is specialized in anesthesiology, intensive care medicine and emergency medicine. Since 2012 he is member of a sepsis research group and the quality improvement project “Sepsisdialog” at University Medicine Greifswald which was awarded in 2017 with the Global Sepsis Award from the Global Sepsis Alliance and the Roger-Bone Award from the German Sepsis Society. His main research area is sepsis quality improvement. Christian S. Scheer has participated in several sepsis studies and lastly also in the National Pandemic Cohort Network of german Network Universitätsmedizin. Christian S. Scheer is member of the working group of the European Sepsis Alliance and principle investigator of the European Sepsis Care Survey project.

Christian S. Scheer ist leitender Oberarzt an der Klinik für Anästhesiologie und Intensivmedizin der Universitätsmedizin Greifswald. Er ist spezialisiert auf Anästhesiologie, Intensivmedizin und Notfallmedizin. Seit 2012 ist er Mitglied einer Sepsis-Forschungsgruppe und des Qualitätsverbesserungsprojekts "Sepsisdialog" an der Universitätsmedizin Greifswald, das 2017 mit dem Global Sepsis Award der Global Sepsis Alliance und dem Roger-Bone Award der Deutschen Sepsis-Gesellschaft ausgezeichnet wurde. Sein Hauptforschungsgebiet ist die Qualitätsverbesserung der Sepsis. Christian S. Scheer hat an mehreren Sepsis-Studien und zuletzt auch am Nationalen Pandemie-Kohorten-Netzwerk des Deutschen Netzwerks Universitätsmedizin teilgenommen. Christian S. Scheer ist Mitglied der Arbeitsgruppe der European Sepsis Alliance und leitender Forscher des European Sepsis Care Survey Projekts.
